^{Originally built in 1896 the Bayview was joined to the house next door in 1970 to become the Bayview Hotel.  Bought in 1995 by Andrew and Irene McGregor, the Bayview has been lovingly upgraded and restored over the past 15 Years and is now graded as a four star guest house by Visit Scotland.  The Bayview closes over the winter months in order to maintain the property to its highest standard.  our six top floor rooms have been totally revamped to give a more modern appeal .Our dining room has been redecorated and  have beautiful new leather seats and our four poster room has had a total makeover.  On re-opening in Feb 2011 we look forward to welcoming old friends back again and meeting new friends who have yet to discover us.}
